Meet at 8:45AM at the registration table. The registration table gathering area is visible from the parking lot at Great Falls Tavern, address: 11710 MacArthur Boulevard, Potomac, MD 20854. Let the registrar know you are with Mosaic MD. The forms to fill out and directions are at the bottom of this page. You can print them out and bring them or wait until Saturday. There will be blank forms at the registration table. In the event of rain, please call 301-714-2233.

Important Notes

**NATIONAL PARK SERVICE CONSENT FORMS:

All C&O Canal Pride Days volunteers must complete the attached NPS Volunteer Agreement Form and C&O Canal Trust media release form in order to participate. Please follow the instructions for your situation:

Individuals: Simply fill out the following form, including emergency contact information, etc., sign and date.

Groups: Each participant will need to complete these forms. Group leaders can bring all forms for their group to the registration table on event day.

PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18: All participants under the age 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the form and sign and date the documents.

No work can be completed by the volunteer until an official NPS employee has possession of this signed document. Please complete and submit this form prior to or on the day of your project.

CHAPERONES: A ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children is required for safety purposes.

DRESS: In the event of rain, please call 301-714-2233. A recorded message will advise whether the project will take place as scheduled or if it has been postponed. Please wear clothing that can get dirty. Long pants and comfortable walking shoes with laces or straps are highly recommended. Please do not wear open toed or open back shoes. Mosquito repellent, sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses, techno for poison ivy, and a water bottle are also suggested. Gloves will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.

WATER: As part of the Climate Friendly Parks Program, plastic water bottles will not be provided for this event. Please remember to bring your own reusable water bottles. Water will be available for re-fills.

PARKING: Space is limited. Carpooling is highly recommended!

CANCELLATIONS: Please call (301) 714-2233 in the event that you must cancel prior to the date.

T-SHIRTS: All C&O Canal Pride Days volunteers will receive a C&O Canal Pride Days T-shirt. These will be available at the registration table on the morning of your project. We will do our best to provide you with the appropriate size, but please understand that we cannot always guarantee exact sizes.
