Sunday, February 19th – Hike 6 Miles on the Bethesda Branch Trail – Haven’t gotten out enough this winter? Need to absorb a little Vit. D? Please join us for a 6 mile, out and back, get out and stretch your legs hike on the Bethesda Branch Trail. This trail is an extension of the Capital Crescent Trail and will take us through Bethesda, Chevy Chase and into Rock Creek Park, where we will loop around and head back. The walking will be easy with an average pace of 2.5 mile/hour. Please consider wearing old sneakers/hiking boots in case the trail is muddy. Expect to walk 2 to 2 ½ hours, with optional food/hot beverage at the end. Please meet at 11AM in front of the Bethesda Barnes & Noble, 4801 Bethesda Avenue. Please bring water and a snack. A block of 10 tickets will be purchased by Mosaic. Cost: $8 per movie ticket. Mosaic members will receive priority on purchasing the tickets. FYI, general admission tickets are $11.
